another boring update

elvendollI went to see the optometrist yesterday. The good news is that the contacts I have are in my ideal prescription. The bad news is that I have 2 prescriptions - one for seeing near and one for seeing far, and ideal vision for me involves wearing contacts all the time and reading glasses for, well, reading. The current plan is to hold off for 2 weeks and see if my brain can adjust to where my vision is with just contacts - the blurriness has been better in the past 2 days then the previous few, so I have some hope. sol3 with me to their office and get him to help me decide between the two indestructible frames I narrowed the selection down to.
sol3 and I had a spiffy date planned for last night, and due to a number of reasons, it ended with dinner. Phooey on less then great timing, and my being tired. Yay for me dating the most patient boy ever, however!
The boy also brought the frame of my new dresser upstairs and we put the drawers back in together - yay to 1/3 of my ideal dresser setup! I'm now hoping to have the remaining 2/3 sometime this month. One I'll buy sooner, and the other I'll keep eyeing CL for.
