Yesterday's scorecard

+ lunch outside
- not making it to the gym in time for the pilates class
+ swimming at the gym
+ stopping by walgreens
+ eating a healthy dinner
- getting sucked into the laptop at home, and not getting much else done

Looks like I came out ahead, huh?

Other recent pluses include going to the Arcade Fire show, making it to the clothing swap, getting a few layers of playa dust off my car (yeah, having it say "burner freak" helped ; ) ), a free massage and a very good amount of seeing people I like.

Also, yesterday was an amazingly gorgeous day. It started Tuesday night, when it was very comfortably warm in the city in the evening, and just kept getting better. The temperature was just perfect, the water in the bay looked amazingly blue, it was very pleasantly warm after dark last night, and driving into the moonrise with a sunset-gradient sky on my left was amazing.

That show was amazing, and I wasn't expecting anything good to come out of Shoreline.

Sort of, Morristown's the only decent-sized city around me, so it's a reference point. I also use: "take the top half of NJ; I'm right in the center".

I grew up in Chester (a little town on Rt 206 with antique shops and turkey farm/resaurant), 2 towns west of Morristown. I did go to hoity-toity prep school/sports camp near in the town of Morris, though.

Yup, I lived in Rockaway for junior and senior years of high school and spent a chunk of my senior year working on this.
