there are days...
Oct. 13th, 2001 01:33 am...when i can appreciate the fact that my body has a mind of its own. there are other days, when it amuses me.
today, i hate it.
between stomach pains, nausea, and the weird my-heart-beating-is-sucking-out-more-energy-then-i-have feeling, it has been almost without break a miserable day.
oh, and my eye still hurts. i have no clue what to do about that. i can see a registered nurse, but i have little faith they'd know enough about eyes... and i don't have vision med. coverage, which makes seeing an eye doctor completely out of the question right now. i am just hoping i will wake up tomorrow, and be able to look up, blink, and not shudder...
only plus side is that after napping for pretty much 6 or 7 hours out of the day, i was able to force myself to go out and actually be human for the first hour at the club. then, pain kicked right back in. i forced myself to stay there until the end of scuba's skit, and then booked it home. i just felt like such a moron because i was there, but because of the pain, i couldn't really keep a conversation with anyone. just stood there like a dork & tried to smile when appropriate.
now, its off to take even more pepcid & drink chocolate milk (to coat my tmmy).
